Our aim at VCC is to honor God through worship in a community setting. While we are continually on a journey to develop what that looks like, we invite you to worship with us at our gatherings.
One thing we want you to know right away is that our gathering begins officially at 9:45 on Sunday mornings. What beginning looks like might feel a bit different than in other gatherings. We realize that developing community in a larger gathering such as on Sunday morning is difficult unless we are intentional about it. So, our worship gathering starts not when the music begins, but when you arrive. Coffee, juice and some snacks are available. The chance to say hello to one another is as important as anything else we do together. The chance to get to know someone, welcome a stranger or just sit and gather your thoughts to engage with the Holy Spirit and others is important so the "call to worship" might not happen until closer to 9:50.

What It's Like
We begin on Sunday Mornings at 9:45 a.m. with some variation of the following:
| Relax... | Enjoy a cup of coffee, say hello to someone and get kids settled in their classrooms. |
| Call to Worship... | A song or two and a scriptural reading. |
| Announcements & Offering... | Find out what's happening at the Vineyard and give freely to God. |
| Sundays Talk... | Usually a 20 minute talk. We often do series on books of the Bible or talk about our values and how we live out following Jesus. |
| Communion... | While communion is available every Sunday, the first Sunday of the month we celebrate communion together with a focus on serving one another and the wider community of Shoreline. |
| Worship/Prayer... | Listen or participate in a celebration of God's goodness through song and prayer. Visit one of our worship stations. |
