Rose and Rich Swetman Co-Pastors
Rich Swetman co-pastors Vineyard Community Church with his wife, Rose. Rich was licensed and ordained through an extension of Portland Bible School. He planted his first church on Whidbey Island in 1974. In 1986, Rich moved to Everett, Washington and developed a counseling practice until 1995. RichÕs focus is on holistic living which brings his experience of recovery and spiritual formation together. Rich currently coaches church planters and young leaders. In 1998 he and Rose assumed the role of co-pastors of Vineyard Community Church.
Rose is a missional pastor who co-pastors Vineyard Community Church in Shoreline, WA with her husband, Rich. She is the Executive Director of Turning Point, a missional group which partners with local agencies to serve low-income families in the greater Seattle area. She is an Area Pastoral Care Leader in the Northhwest Region of VineyardUSA. Rose is currently pursuing her Doctor of Ministry from Bakke Graduate University in Seattle, WA focused on Transformational Leadership for the Global City.
Rich and Rose have a blended family of eight children.
Jim Fox Associate Pastor
Jim Fox has been an associated pastor at VCC for two years. He cares about the process of "connecting" here - from initial contact and Connect Cards to small groups (what we call Connect Groups) and relationship development. Jim's years of experience in the graphic design world influences his desire to incorporate the fine arts and different forms of visual communications into the VCC worship experience. Jim and his wife have two children. He also has a lot of tattoos, two beautiful French Bulldogs, and too many comic books to count.
